Not really. Usually we get the day off when it ices or a freak snow storm comes through which happened throughout my high school career. I'm hoping that most of the sown doesn't melt and they cancel morning classes. I don't want to go tomorrow.

... Well you just got it it seems. rofl. We ended up with 9 inches of snow here, and surprisingly the lake effect has kicked in this far away, so maybe a few more snow showers today. 19 inches for a 6-day total is amazing if you ask me, even if it doesn't get us off of school.

It's cold. Really cold. Like at night we have negative numbers cold. Can winter in Ohio be over yet?
So noting that I'll be alone on Valentine's Day, and while chocolate was nice last year, I really don't mind. Seriously, if I have to scrape up someone to spend it with I'd rather treat it like a normal day. I wasn't one to hype it up too much anyway so I'm not really down about it. In fact, I bet I'll be worried more about what I'll eat for lunch that day... Or today for that matter, I'm hungry. *runs off to get food now and probably broadcast after*

... It snowed again. Seriously, I love snow, but it's getting ridiculous now. Another 6-9 inches with this storm, going on now. I had to drive to class, and when I got there they JUST decided to close campus, so it was worth nothing. :/

Don't they tell you on the news if campus is closed?
Ours sends you a message either on your phone or through email. They closed campus last Friday due to the snow storm here. Apparently we are suppose to get more which makes me kind of mad. After this weekend, I'm kind of tired on the snow.

Well... They do, but that doesn't help when they're open when you leave the house and they close when you get to class. Anyway, it's just snow showers and wind now, Winter Storm Warning has been downgraded to a Winter Weather Advisory for the rest of the storm, which could get us 1-3 inches more through Wednesday night. We got 7 inches here, giving us a 16-inch snowpack and 26 inches of snowfall in the last 11 days. The 10 inches that seemingly disappeared is just from the settling in of the snowpack, which is now a nasty mix of snow and ice. I am glad to have nothing on my schedule today, however. It'll let things clear out, and I'm sure our trucks will handle a slower snowfall rate. It's too cold for salt to work though... At least my town decided to use beet juice (you read that right) which works to -5. I got stuck driving behind cars from three states yesterday, and I'm sure the states are ones you'll find amusing considering I'm dealing with snow: Louisiana, Florida, and California. Not the snowiest states, though at least parts of California are snowy... Crazy odds though, especially for a state this far north. Now, this isn't really with my life or anything, since all of our amusing things are with the weather, but I have been watching the Winter Olympics. USA has the most medals so far with 8, and behind that is France, Germany, and Canada all with 4. I like this kind of domination. *starts random USA chant* Noting that Vancouver might be the only place in North America without snow, however, rofl. One last thing: I actually got to see a UConn women's basketball game on TV last night! And it was kind of scary... Oklahoma led them by 2 with 16 minutes to go. Then UConn started playing like the best team ever and won by 16. That's 65 wins in a row, all by double digits. Since both my parents went there, I want this streak to keep going. The women's record is 70, so we're not far from seeing it now!

So I was an idiot today and used my underused Pokemon team against an Overused one... And somehow I won. Raikou is a god, just saying.
Anyway, before I go to bed, odd note that who knows if I'll be in school or not Monday... Only mentioning it for a 4th possible snowstorm this month. We'll wait and see.
